Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you type into a YoCalc calculator stays in your browser. We have no servers processing your numbers, no accounts storing your data, and no interest in either.

Calculator inputs

All calculations are performed client-side using JavaScript running on your device. The values you enter — loan amounts, salaries, weights, birth dates, grades — are never transmitted to us or to any third party. They exist only in your browser's memory and disappear when you leave the page.

Information we may collect

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may log standard technical information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are popular so we can improve them. This data is anonymous and cannot be tied to the numbers you enter, because those numbers never reach us.

Cookies and advertising

YoCalc uses Google Analytics to see which calculators are popular, so we know what to improve. It only loads after you accept the cookie banner on this site — rejecting is a real option, not just a dismiss button, and if you reject or haven't yet chosen, Google Analytics does not load at all and sets no cookies. The one thing we always store locally is your cookie-consent choice itself (in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and not on our servers) so we don't ask you twice.

Google Analytics never receives the numbers you type into a calculator — loan amounts, salaries, weights, birth dates, grades, and so on never leave your browser, regardless of your cookie choice. What it does see is standard, non-identifying usage data: which pages you visit, roughly how long you stay, and general device/location information at a city or country level. If we enable Google AdSense in the future, the same consent banner and the same rule apply: ad cookies are only set if you accept. You can manage your ad personalization settings directly at https://myadcenter.google.com.

Children's privacy

YoCalc is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since our calculators don't collect personal information from anyone, this largely takes care of itself.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and revise the date below. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
